The Foresteria Villa Puccini, located at 258 Viale Puccini, is adjacent to the Villa Museum from which it takes its name and the inspiration for the décor of the guest accommodation, which is on the first and top floor of a fine building owned by the Simonetta Puccini Foundation.

 

The Foresteria offers latest generation comfort while maintaining the atmosphere and art nouveau style of Puccini’s age. The Foresteria Villa Puccini offers double bedroom accommodation, one suite and an apartment, all of which are embellished with fine décor and attention to detail and take their name from a place associated with Puccini: Celle, the village from where the Puccini family originated; Boscolungo, a mountain village near to Abetone, where Puccini came to escape the summer heat; Vacallo in the Canton of Ticino, which saw the birth of the second act of Manon Lescaut and Chiatri, where the Maestro had a house built in the wooded countryside.

 

The apartment, equipped with kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom with modern fittings, recalls the city of Milan where the Maestro attended the Conservatoire and where he lived for many years in the palazzo in via Verdi.

 

The Elvira Bedroom, named after Giacomo’s wife, is tastefully furnished with elegant period furniture.

 

The Giacomo Puccini Suite, the pride of the Foresteria, is splendidly appointed with period furniture taken from the Maestro’s bedroom in the Villino di Viareggio, where he lived during the last three years of his life and where he composed Turandot.

 

The Foresteria has a panoramic lift and key entrance to accommodation has been replaced by the use of an electronic code.
