Villa Puccini is adjacent to the  belvedere on Lake Massaciuccoli and is signposted as “Museo Villa Puccini”

Torre del Lago is situated 5 km  from Viareggio, and approx. 15 km from Lucca and Pisa, 75 km from Florence
                                                           

The Villa Puccini Museum is on the western shore of Lake Massaciuccoli, a fascinating natural site which includes, as well as the lake, a dense network of channels connecting  to the sea: a protected wetland zone of notable  naturalistic interest, bordering the Lecciona woods and the Migliarino. scrubland As in Puccini’s time, there are still typical large fishing nets and cabins along the channels (visits by boat –birdwatching). Around the perimeter of the lake there are buildings and localities of considerable historic interest: the Ginori and Orlando villas, the splendid Roman spa at Massaciuccoli.
